Chad Bentley is a family man, well-respected plant-based endurance athlete and the recipient of the Craig Perceval "Be Phenomenal" Award in sportsmanship. He is a multi-time ironman finisher, four-time Ultraman-distance Triathlon finisher, and is currently training for the Epic 5, where he will be one of 7 athletes from around the world attempting to complete 5 ironman races in 5 days on 5 Hawaiian Islands. But he wasn't always a long-distance athlete. A little over a decade ago, his life was very different. In fact, the never-ending length of his fast food orders at the drive-thru were a thing to marvel.
